The GamesCapitalBerlin is back at the world's largest games trade fair and is once again showcasing the potential of the capital region. As a measure of our foreign trade promotion, we are offering companies from Berlin and Brandenburg a strong platform for international networking and visibility with the joint booth at gamescom 2025 – entirely in the spirit of our 'Internationalization Concept for the Berlin Economy 2025–2027'.

Our goal is clear: to strengthen the games industry, expand the regional games ecosystem, and further establish GamesCapitalBerlin as a leading location in Europe. An important milestone is the 'House of Games,' whose property was unveiled in June and which will open in 2026. It will be a place where creatives, studios, talents, and startups can come together, benefit from one another, and jointly shape the future of the industry.

Until then, our booth at gamescom is an ideal meeting point for exchange, new partnerships, and deeper insights into Berlin's games economy. I wish all participants a successful and inspiring gamescom 2025.

State Secretary for Economy

BERLIN–BRANDENBURG RECEPTION

Among others, Michael Biel, Berlin’s State Secretary for Economic Affairs, will give a welcome address to kick things off.

Alongside our supporter, the Berlin Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises, five co-exhibitors will be present at the reception: Brehm & v. Moers, Black Soup, maz&movie, Ravespace, and Wirtschaftsförderung Land Brandenburg (WFBB).

As in previous years, our booth also features an Indie Area, made possible thanks to the support of Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg. The following studios will showcase their games there: Nukuna Interactive, Stoked Sloth Interactive, Stellar Cartography Interactive, Indifferent Penguin, Sentiment Games and Mostly Games.

The reception is further supported by our valued partners, the European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EIT) and WFBB.
